The DOR program returns in a new edition

The Diaspora Relations Bureau has started the registration to the DOR Diaspora*Origins*Returns governmental program, the 11th edition. After a period in which the pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the military conflict in the neighboring country kept us at a distance, today we bring good news and announce that the DOR Program will take place with physical presence, between August 8-17, 2023.

100 children and young people will participate in the current edition: 80 from the diaspora and 20 from the Republic of Moldova, from the beneficiary localities of the "DAR 1+3" Diaspora At Home Succeeds Program.

Those wishing to participate in DOR must meet the following eligibility criteria: be between 12 and 17 years old, have communication skills in Romanian, have the spirit of artistry and creativity.

The deadline for registration at DOR - April 21, 2023. The forms will be evaluated for eligibility and the results will be announced on April 28.

DOR is a Program dedicated both to children and young people from the diaspora, as well as to those from the Republic of Moldova, and is carried out under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, through the Diaspora Relations Bureau. This Program aims to establish an emotional connection with the Republic of Moldova, promote and preserve national traditions and values. Participation in DOR is free. All expenses are provided from the state budget, the participants bear only the transportation expenses to/from the Republic of Moldova.
