Victoria Donu, the founder of the Moldoveni.cz platform, visited the BRD

Employed at one of the well-known pharmaceutical companies, specialized in exact sciences, being passionate of music, dance and communication, Victoria Donu is a reference name among Moldovans settled in the Czech Republic - the country, which she initially chose as a destination for to continue her studies, and later as a place to live and professionally development.

Victoria Donu's visit to the Diaspora Relations Bureau pleasantly surprised the entire BRD team, which is following her progress, appreciating her achievements abroad, but also her involvement in resonance projects at home.

Energetic and positive, Victoria manages to harmoniously combine office work with performing arts, dancing skills and communication skills. Being settled for several years living in the Czech Republic, Victoria does not forget her roots and identifies time for actions that contribute to the creation of the image of the Republic of Moldova. Together with other inspired young women, Victoria Donu founded the ethno-folk ensemble "Kodrjanka", which recently marked 10 years of activity.

During the dialogue, Victoria spoke to us about the Moldoveni.cz platform that she founded with the aim of connecting and promoting Czech nationals, noting that the page is accessed by a large number of followers and is enjoying success . At the same time, we were happy to learn from our guest that he also produces a podcast in English, in which he interviews people from different fields, from all over the world.

In the same order of idea, Victoria Donu shared with the BRD team the initiative regarding the opening of an Educational Center in the Czech Republic, where children from the diaspora can study the Romanian language.

Nadejda Zubco, head of the Diaspora Relations Bureau made a presentation of the BRD's activity, referring to the Programs intended for citizens of the Republic of Moldova abroad, especially the subprograms, within the Diaspora Engagement Hub (DEH) Program. Also, Nadejda Zubco suggested the guest to identify pedagogues in the Czech diaspora, who would like to participate in the Continuing Education Program for teachers in Educational Centers, which BRD organizes annually, in partnership with the National Association of European Trainers from Moldova.

At the end of the discussion, the head of BRD thanked Victoria Donu for the visit and for the interest shown in the Bureau's activity.
