The best students and young people from the diaspora, awarded at the Gala of Students from the Republic of Moldova

The 10th edition of the Gala of Students from the Republic of Moldova (GSORM) took place last night, December 21, at the Palace of the Republic. The event brought together officials, teachers, students and young people from the diaspora, who study in countries such as France, Romania, Japan, Hungary, Greece, Great Britain, USA, etc.

For ten years, GSORM has been organized with the aim of promoting the best students from the Republic of Moldova, rewarding their achievements and academic excellence. During this anniversary edition, about 100 files were submitted in the following categories: Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, Arts "Nicolae Dabija", Erasmus, Inspiring comebacks, Inspiring teachers "Valeriu Turea", Special Repatriate Award, Special Francophonie Award.

The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, gave an emotional speech in which she stated: "I am sure that you can succeed anywhere in the world - you are young, talented, full of energy, you are smart - you have all the elements to achieve achievements, but I , obviously, I want you to succeed here, at home".

Being present at the Gala, Nadejda Zubco, head of the Diaspora Relations Bureau (BRD) had the honor of handing out the awards in the Bachelor category. "Dear young people, esteemed representatives of our country abroad, you are the ones who promote Moldova in the most beautiful way and for this fact we are grateful to you", said the head of BRD.

The Gala of Students from the Republic of Moldova is an annual competition organized by the League of Students from the Republic of Moldova (LSORM) dedicated to students from the diaspora.
