Poet Liuba Sârbu from Canada visited BRD

We happily awaited the visit to the Diaspora Relations Burea of our compatriot Liuba Sârbu, who recently returned from Canada with impressions of the latest activities she organized with and for the diaspora. Although she has been living far from her native country for many years, she actively promotes the Romanian language in the diaspora, writing and publishing poems.

The newest project he implemented in partnership with BRD was the editing and publication of a new issue of the literary-entertaining children's magazine "Pici voinici". During the discussion, it was mentioned that thanks to the funding obtained from BRD, it was possible to edit [U1] the magazine of better quality and distribute it to a larger number of copies.

During her stay in Moldova, Ms. Sârbu visited different public institutions with the aim of presenting the new magazine and talking about her experience promoting the Romanian language abroad. We were happy about the success of the magazine among children in the diaspora, being in demand not only on the American continent, but also in European countries, such as Italy, France, Spain, etc.

We are grateful to Mrs. Sârbu for her dedication and the results of the implementation of this project, and we hope that she will be involved in other initiatives that BRD intends to launch.
