EUDiF Future Forum

Yesterday afternoon, the Diaspora Relations Office (BRD) participated in the work of the European Union Forum, EUDiF Future Forum, an emblematic annual event aimed at promoting the collaboration of the diaspora with local and global decision-makers.


In the context of the discussions, Violina Donu, Deputy Head of BRD, referred to the good practices aimed at attracting human potential from the diaspora and to the Programs implemented by the Bureau for this purpose. Among them is the "Diaspora Engagement Hub", which is invited to participate both young people, citizens of the Republic of Moldova established abroad and members of the diaspora with extensive professional experience, and for the first time for this edition, the program will be awarded grants to associations in the diaspora. It was mentioned about the importance of the connection with the highly qualified diaspora and the transfer of expertise that it can achieve in the Republic of Moldova.


The event was also attended by Dorina Baltag, scientific researcher, founder of the "Noroc Olanda" foundation, Dorina Baltag the leaders of associations involved in many projects both in the country of residence, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and in the Republic of Moldova. Please note that the leader of the "Good Luck Netherlands" team promotes the problem-based learning system - where problems are debated in a creative way to generate solutions.


The Forum was also attended by Ayalew Kassahun, Professor at Wageningen University (Netherlands), David Khoudour, Human Mobility Adviser (UNDP), Karine Yacoubian, Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs (Armenia) and Marion Fleuth-Leferink, Senior Consultant for policies, European Commission.
