Akadémia Diasporei - a new project that aims to connect people and build capacity
On April 26, the team of the Noroc Holland Foundation launched the “Akadémia Diaspora” virtual space, which offers a unique opportunity for diaspora communities to transfer knowledge and practices. The first stage of the Academy involves an advanced training program in the format of Training of Trainers, which was developed together with the coordinating partners: the Association for the Integration of Migrants - AIM (France) and the Diaspora Connect platform, and with the involvement of MAD-Aid ( United Kingdom) and IRI-Moldova support.
The program aims to create a collaborative learning environment in which diaspora civil society organizations will be equipped with the necessary organizational skills and tools to become strong transnational actors and active development partners for the Republic of Moldova.
What are the components of the program?
2 trainings in the format of Training of Trainers
4 Coworking Meetings (Facilitated Collaboration)
2 Networking events
For whom?
Leaders of diaspora organizations and / or initiative groups
Representatives of active communities (min. 3 years of activity)
Organizations with concrete examples of initiatives and / or projects
Motivated leaders willing to devote time to participating in the entire training program in May-June
What is offered?
Knowledge of strategic communication, fundraising and networking strategies adapted to the realities of the diaspora
Implementing knowledge in practice during the program, individually and as a team with other leaders in the diaspora
Access to resources and practical materials, including after successful completion of the program
Membership of an active network of civil society organizations in the diaspora
Important:
All components of the program will take place in virtual format
Enrollment in the program implies the willingness to participate in all sessions
The selection of participants takes place on the basis of completing the registration form
Incomplete forms or those received after the deadline will not be evaluated
