Diaspora survey: mobilizing highly qualified diaspora in education and research in Moldova

Diaspora representatives are invited to respond to the survey on Mobilizing Highly Qualified Diaspora in Education and Research in the Republic of Moldova.

The survey is part of the European Union Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF), which is assisting the Diaspora Relations Bureau (BRD) in the project "Piloting Diaspora Mobilisation Schemes in the Education and Research Sectors in Moldova", with the involvement of three diaspora experts, Dorina Baltag, Olga Bostan and Mariana Plămădeala.

The survey was developed to inform about diaspora activity in the education and research sectors, as no data exists. The data collection in this survey will result in the development of a roadmap with practical guidelines for interested actors in the Republic of Moldova to set up a diaspora skills transfer programme in these sectors.

The purpose of this survey is twofold: to outline the profile of the Moldovan academic diaspora and to identify the diaspora's experience with different know-how transfer schemes.

Completing this survey takes 10-15 minutes and all data collected will be coded and anonymised during the data analysis process.

The survey can be accessed at the following link: https://forms.gle/FNyJd9pBAM7zs7ceA

NOTE: The DP4D Action: "Piloting Diaspora Mobilisation Schemes in Moldova's Education and Research Sectors" is supported by the EUDiF Capacity Development Lab, which is implemented by ICMPD and funded by the European Union.

EUDiF is an EU-funded instrument, operational since 2019, and aims to strengthen collaboration between diaspora development organisations, home countries and the EU.
